Some facts about the
city of Brest
With 200,000 inhabitants, Brest is the second-largest city in Brittany. Because
of its commercial and naval port, the Rade de Brest, it has developed into an
important economic area.
Brest lies in the extreme west of Brittany on the Atlantic coast, and is surrounded
by a very diversified nature and unique landscape.
