Das KulturForum ist ein modern ausgestatteter Saal mit Bühne, Flügel sowie entsprechender Licht- und Tontechnik und steht grundsätzlich für Konzerte, Lesungen, Vorträge und Theateraufführungen zur Verfügung. Er bietet Sitzplätze für 250 Besucherinnen und Besucher.

Ein Veranstaltungsraum für Künstler*innen

Unter künstlerischen und inhaltlichen Voraussetzungen können Künstler*innen das KulturForum für ihre kulturellen Veranstaltungen nutzen.

Das KulturForum engagiert die Künstler*innen nicht. Vielmehr treten diese beziehungsweise das Management selbst als Veranstalter*in auf, so dass das KulturForum weder Gagen noch Reise- und Übernachtungskosten übernimmt. 

Das KulturForum bietet folgende Leistungen:

• Reinigung des Veranstaltungsraumes
• Nutzung der vorhandenen Licht- und Tontechnik
• Erstellung und Vertrieb der Eintrittskarten
• Pressearbeit (Veröffentlichung im Internet, monatlicher Programmflyer, wöchentlicher Newsletter sowie lokaler Presseversand).

Die Gesamteinnahmen der jeweiligen Veranstaltung gehen zu 100 Prozent an den*die Künstler*in abzüglich

• einer Pauschale in Höhe von 1,50 Euro bis 2,50 Euro pro Besucher*in (die Pauschale ist abhängig vom vereinbarten Eintrittspreis)
• bei Bedarf an zusätzlichen technischen oder organisatorischen Personalkapazitäten betragen die Mehrkosten 18 Euro / angefangene Stunde

Bei Bedarf

• Stimmen des Flügels
• Innenstadtplakatierung über STRÖER / DSM

Für die Werbung Ihrer Veranstaltung benötigen wir von Ihnen digitales Bildmaterial, das das KulturForum uneingeschränkt für die Bewerbung der Veranstaltung im Internet auf kiel.de und für den Informationsversand an die Presse nutzen darf. Es muss zugesichert werden, dass die Bildrechte geklärt sind und die Rechte Dritter nicht entgegenstehen und nicht verletzt werden.

Sollten die Kosten die Einnahmen der veranstaltenden Künstler*in übersteigen, kann das KulturForum in Einzelfällen von dieser Regelung abweichen.

Terms of Use

The KulturForum is a state of the art indoor event location equipped with a stage, a piano and common required light and sound devices. It is basically used for concerts, readings and performances. The room offers seats for about 250 visitors. 

A location for artistically events

Fulfilling formal and content requirements of the KulturForum, artists can use it for their cultural events.

The artists will not be booked by the KulturForum but the artists themselves or their management is the host of the event. According to that no travel costs or fees for accommodation for the artists will be paid.

The following services are provided:

• cleaning of the location before / after the event
• printing and sale of tickets
• press relations (e.g. publication on the internet, monthly flyer, weekly newsletter, local press)
   

Except the following listed deductions the artist will gain the complete proceeds of the event: 

• according to the agreed entrance fee 1,50 Euro to 2,50 Euro will be raised for each guest and goes to the KulturForum
• if additional technical or organizational personnel capacities are required, the additional costs are 18 Euro per commenced hour
• professional tuning up of the piano
• posting in the city center with our partner STRÖER/DSM (the cost are depending on the number of prints)

To promote your event it is necessary that you provide the KulturForum with digital pictures which can be used without any restriction for internet promotion on kiel.de and may be handed out to the local press. The artist has to warrant that the reproduction rights of the pictures are settled and rights of a third party are not conflicted nor infringed.

In individual cases - especially if the fees get higher than the proceeds - the KulturForum reserves the right to deviate from these agreements
