Olympiazentrum Kiel-Schilksee

The Olympiazentrum in Kiel-Schilksee is a place of significant sporting history: The 1972 Olympic sailing competitions took place here. It is the sporting centre for the legendary Kieler Woche. And the beach is just perfect for beach volleyball tournaments.

Rooms for associations and organisations

The City of Kiel provides a good selection of rooms available for use, with the Haus der Athleten (with a sports boarding school), the Regattahaus and the Vaasahalle.

Associations and organisations can book rooms here, for example, for conferences or training courses. The Infocenter is the place to contact if you have any requests - and if you wish to use the outdoor areas for sporting events.

The Haus der Athleten (House of Athletes) is hotel-like accommodation, primarily for young elite athletes.

It is located in a central part of Olympiazentrum Schilksee and offers modern single and double rooms. Full board can also be booked.

All rooms have a small bathroom with shower and a unique view over the Baltic Sea. The beach and salt water swimming pool are very close by.

The Infocenter at Olympiazentrum Schilksee is situated in a central part of the southern marina plaza, near the open air staircase.

It provides tourist information all about Kiel and is a well-known term for many of Kiel's citizens, tourists and sportsmen and women.

This is where booking requests are taken for accommodation in the Haus der Athleten and for the conference or training course rooms in the Regattahaus.

The Infocenter's opening times are based on the tourist season and large sporting events.
